Why I became a vegan

I have been a vegetarian for three years now. Recently I also became a vegan, which means that I no longer consume diary products ( milk, cheese and eggs ). I got problems with acne ( I am 36 years old now, but the acne keep coming back. ) and therefore I should not drink milk from animals and not eat cheese made from the milk of animals. I became a vegetarian because it was a more healthy life style. I had heard from Sang Nguyen ( Who I first saw on Facebook. ) that the meat industry pumped the meat with hormones and different chemicals so the meat would not rot in the store. It was obvious that it could be dangerous for our health to consume meat. I also saw some videos of how badly the animals were treated in farms. Some animals lived in a too small space, others did not get enough medical treatment, etc. My Swedish sister works as a nurse in the USA and she is also a vegan. She has a farm with different animals; lamas, goats, ducks, etc. She produces clothes from the wool she gets from the lamas.

The vegan life style has become more trendy lately, but not everyone know about the side effects and how you will consume the vegan food correctly. First of all the brain needs the omega 3 fatty acid in order to function properly. You can eat one walnut ( Contain omega 3 fatty acid ) a day and you will be fine. A vegan does not consume fish ( Were we find the omega 3 fatty acid. ). The second thing is that the body also need vitamin B 12 ( Found in meat, egg, milk and cheese ). We need vitamin B 12 so that the blood system ( Deficiency in vitamin B 12 might lead to anemia ) and the nervous system can work properly. Vitamin B 12 is being produced in the gut by bacterias.
